Ardshinbank Warns

Recently, there has been a significant rise in fraud cases. Fraudsters have adopted new, more subtle tactics, often posing as employees of postal services, delivery and service sector companies, or various governmental organizations. However, their primary objective remains unchanged: to fraudulently acquire customer card details, one-time codes sent to mobile phones, or access to accounts.

In response to this growing threat, Ardshinbank has implemented several measures to protect its customers from fraud, including:

◾  A three-layer protection system that ensures customer identification before executing a financial transaction, which includes sending a special code to the customer's phone number.
◾    The ability to change the pre-approved electronic device or phone in the Mobile Banking system is now possible only after the customer’s identity has been verified.
However, these measures will be ineffective if customers do not adhere to security guidelines and remain vigilant, and their data becomes accessible to third parties. Therefore, we would like to remind you once again:

No one (including Bank employees) is authorized to request the following information from you under any circumstances:

◾    Your Mobile Banking system login or any other data (e.g., credit card PINs, passwords, etc.)
◾    OTP (one-time password) received via SMS
◾    Your card number, expiration date, or CVV code

Additionally, we encourage you to be particularly cautious in the following situations:

◾    Unsolicited messages (SMS, Viber, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.) or emails, especially if you are asked to provide or confirm personal information, including your Mobile Banking login or other sensitive data (e.g., credit card PIN, passwords, etc.).
◾    Calls from unknown phone numbers, especially if you are asked to provide personal information or an OTP (one-time password) received via SMS.
◾    Emails, particularly if they ask you to fill out a form or document attached to the email.
◾    Attachments or links, especially if you are unsure of their authenticity.
