This tree planting event is part of a broader, long-term environmental program that Ardshinbank is implementing in collaboration with “My Forest Armenia.” As part of this initiative, Ardshinbank’s nominal forest was planted in October 2024 within the administrative boundaries of Lernajur in the Pambak community of the Lori region. The forest planting project, covering more than 6 hectares, features exclusively local tree species, including oak, birch, wild pear, wild apple, maple, and yew. One of the key objectives of this environmental program is to expand Ardshinbank’s nominal forest, significantly contributing to the “green lungs” of the Lori region and helping absorb around 2,000 tons of harmful CO₂ emissions.
"My Forest Armenia" has already made significant strides in forest planting and reforestation, having planted over 2.3 million trees across 750 hectares in the Lori and Tavush regions over the past five years.
