On October 22-24, 2025 the ITU International Cybersecurity 2025 event was held in Yerevan, organized by the Information Systems Agency of Armenia in collaboration with the International Telecommunication Union. The team, which included employees from Ardshinbank, won first prize in the competition.
The cyber exercise brought together leading international and local cybersecurity professionals, policymakers, national CERT teams, and industry experts to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and strengthen international cooperation aimed at enhancing global cyber resilience.
This year’s event held special significance for Armenia, as the country prepares to introduce its Cybersecurity Law – a major milestone in advancing national cyber governance and protecting digital infrastructure.
“Every opportunity to learn from global cybersecurity experience and to test our strengths alongside truly qualified specialists is something we highly value,” said Narek Vardanyan, a member of the winning team and an expert in the Technical Support Division of Ardshinbank’s Information Security Department, during his speech.
Along with Narek Vardanyan, the first-place team also included Mary Kocharyan, an expert in the Technical Support Division of Ardshinbank’s Information Security Department.
During the event, international guests participated in interactive cyber exercises and scenario discussions, shared insights on emerging threats and cybersecurity strategies, established connections with regional and international professionals, and experienced the rich cultural heritage and warm hospitality of Armenia.
