On February 19, on the Book Donation Day, a loft-style university hall was opened at the Armenian National Agrarian University; it was an important step in creating an effective student-centered educational environment. This initiative of the ANAU Support Fund was sponsored by Ardshinbank.
The idea of the "loft" hall came from the examples of the world's leading universities. The new comfortable hall is equipped with cutting-edge technologies essential for meetings, debates, presentations, etc. There is also a library in the hall. This format provides wider opportunities for the communication between teachers and students, which will help students learn, develop creative thinking and gain new skills.
During the opening ceremony, Artak Ananyan, the Chairman of the Management Board of Ardshinbank, welcomed and congratulated the participants. "I am glad that we are able to contribute to the education of the new generation. Students will have all the necessary conditions to study, create and get engaged in science. By furnishing this hall, we are starting that process," said Mr. Ananyan.
According to ANAU Rector Vardan Urutyan, the financing of the program by Ardshinbank was a very good example of the corporate social responsibility. "We are happy to represent the new reading hall to our students. This is an additional incentive to come up with new ideas, create new startups. Thank you to our partners from Ardshinbank for their solidarity and support”.
The upcoming events will include courses aimed at improving financial literacy at the university, which will be conducted by invited professionals from the financial and banking sector, including specialists from Ardshinbank.
